L’Unione europea ha dato il via libera ai fondi per gli agricoltori danneggiati dal terremoto. Una disponibilità che consentirà di integrare i 21 milioni di euro di fondi comunitari ricevuti nel 2016, stanziata per le regioni colpite dal sisma. La Commissione europea ha aumentato dall’85 al 100 per cento la quota di pagamenti anticipati per alcune misure di sviluppo rurale e ha rinviato da marzo a giugno 2017 il termine per la presentazione delle relazioni sui controlli relativi ad alcune specifiche misure. L’esecutivo europeo accoglierà inoltre, la richiesta del nostro Paese di aumentare i settori per i quali ha già autorizzato i pagamenti anticipati per alcune misure.
La politica di sviluppo rurale dell’Ue in itinere, potrà finanziare il ripristino del potenziale agricolo e forestale danneggiato dal recente terremoto, con la rassegnazione di fondi rivolti a rafforzare le misure già disponibili che potranno essere rapidamente adottate con le proposte di modifica dei programmi regionali. Agli allevatori verrà erogato un sostegno per animale allevato per un importo stabilito in 400 euro a capo bovino e 60 euro per ogni pecora posseduta prima del sisma, sono inoltre previsti aiuti per il settore dei suini e degli equini. Un intervento significativo che dovrà essere attuato a breve termine, con procedure semplici e senza costi per le imprese, già costrette a fare i conti con i ritardi accumulati a livello regionale nel garantire ricoveri alle persone con difficoltà accresciute, in queste ultime settimane, dalle condizioni meteorologiche avverse
